A deposit of 50% is required for a reservation. We accept VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover.


  • We understand that even the best-laid plans may not work out. If you must cancel your reservation, your deposit will be held, and you will have one year to re-book an equivalent reservation. We will allow for this opportunity one time only. If the re-booked reservation is not fulfilled, the deposit is then forfeited.
  • Shortened stays are responsible for payment of the full reservation.
  • “No-shows” will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Two-night minimum stay is required.

Three-night minimum stays are required:

  • 4th of July weekend
  • Labor Day weekend
  • Apple Fest weekend

BALANCE IS DUE AT CHECK-IN by credit card or cash only — No checks accepted. If paying in cash, guest will be required to present a current, valid credit card upon check-in.

CHECK-IN IS 4:00 PM ~ Please plan your arrival appropriately.

  • LATE/AFTER-HOURS ARRIVAL AFTER 7:00 pm: At the Office door, you will find an envelope labeled with your name and Cottage #. Enclosed you will find all information needed for your after-hours arrival.

CHECK-OUT IS NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM. Check-outs after 10:00 am will be charged a substantial fee for unauthorized late check-out.

For groups reserving 8 or more cottages, check-out is no later than 9:00 am.

OCCUPANCY There is a $40/night charge for an additional guest as allowed per Cottage occupancies.

Occupancy limits include children, regardless of age, and will not be exceeded for any reason. Exceeding the maximum specified occupancy violates health and fire codes, and will result in termination of your reservation without refund.

BEDDING FOR PULL-OUT SLEEPERS (or daybed in #2) is available only upon request. You must request at time of reservation or ahead of arrival date, and a one-time charge of $10+tax will be added.  NOTE: There are no add’l sleepers/beds available in Cottages 3,4,5,14.

NO UNREGISTERED VISITORS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY. Woodside Cottages is a private resort. With respect to our guests, we allow only registered guests on our property. There are some wonderful public areas nearby to get together with friends and family that are staying in the area.

NO PETS ALLOWED on property or inside Cottages. A cleaning fee of $500.00 will be charged along with termination of rental with no refund.

NO SMOKING/VAPING inside Cottages A cleaning fee of $500.00 will be charged if there is evidence of smoking/vaping inside Cottages.

NO COOKING INSIDE COTTAGES 3, 4, 5, and 14 except microwave. We offer Cottages with kitchens if you prefer the convenience of home-cooking during your stay.


NO TENTS or additional sleeping facilities are permitted on property.

ALL TOWELS, BLANKETS, & BEDDING MUST REMAIN INSIDE COTTAGE ~ DO NOT use for cleaning, or beaches, or fire pits!

DAMAGES & CLEANING  Any unreported damages, items missing, or **excessive cleaning required after check-out will be charged to your final bill, a minimum of $100.  Each Cottage is equipped appropriately. DO NOT MIX dishes/utensils with other Cottages as additional **excessive cleaning charges will apply. Charges will be added to your final bill for unreported damages to the Cottage, Towels, Bedding, Furniture, Property, Items missing, or Excessive cleaning required after your departure. This includes, but not limited to, dirty dishes left for us to wash (if dishwasher is provided), displaced dishes/furnishings. If you move dishes or furniture, put them back where they belong!, confetti/glitter (yes, glitter!), trash & cigarette butts that have been littered outdoors.

We are not responsible for items lost or left behind but we will always do our best to recover and return items at guest’s expense.

ASSIGNMENT We reserve the right to re-assign accommodations of the same-size Cottage or larger with the same basic amenities or upgrade without notice at no additional charge.

ACCEPTANCE We reserve the right to change the Policies at any time.

By making a reservation, you acknowledge and accept the current Policies of Woodside Cottages of Bayfield.
