Yes, you can ride from Woodside Cottages of Bayfield!
Enjoy the incredible scenery in Bayfield County, “Home of Wisconsin’s National Treasures.” Over 180 miles of ATV trails (PLUS hundreds of miles of Forest Roads) provide year-round fun with opportunities to stop at scenic vistas and great restaurants. Our trails are maintained by dedicated volunteers from area clubs in cooperation with the County Forestry & Parks Dept. and the USDA Forest Service.
Many designated ATV trails and all road routes in Bayfield County are also open to registered UTVs. Trails and roads under National Forest jurisdiction are open to UTVs 50 inches wide or less.
Have a smartphone? Download the Avenza app (free) and get the Bayfield County Snowmobile Map, ATV/UTV Map, or Highway Map on your device before you hit the trails – it will allow you to locate yourself on the trail map with GPS so you can see where you are!
Plan ahead for ATV Registrations and Trail Passes
